LARRY RAY BRANNOCK

Larry Ray Brannock grew up among beautiful farmlands set in the rural rolling hills of Central Kentucky. There he developed a passion for light, color, and form. He pursued an art education at the University of Kentucky then moved to Brooklyn, New York. Yearning for the country air he moved upstate to the Artists Colony of Woodstock. This is where he has flourished for 20 years, creating an extensive body of work, his palette reflecting the ageless tones of the earth and even his most abstract images somehow conveying the mysterious energy of the Catskills.

ABOUT

Artist Statement

I am fascinated with the endless visual patterns and textures created by the abundance of life on earth.  I am curious how they relate to the construction and cohesion of our tiny planet and its place within this enormous universe we inhabit.  My works are merely windows into the infinite combinations of those visual patterns and textures.
